What do you do with my email address?

Your email will be used only to send you daily jokes. You can leave the list at any time by following the unsubscribe link included in every message we send out.  We don’t sell or give your email to anyone for any purpose.

Where do you get your jokes?

We get our jokes from a variety of sources.  If you would like to submit one, use our contact form to send it to us.

Your jokes are/are not funny.

Humor is subjective.  Yes, our jokes are funny.  No, our jokes aren’t funny.  Use comments located directly below each joke to express your opinion.  Seriously, we like it when people leave comments. Refrain from contacting us.  We already know that humor is subjective.

That joke was not clean humor!

We try, we really do. Sometimes we let one through that some readers find offensive.  Admit it, it was probably only slightly offensive.  Sometimes humor goes that way.  We try not to go too far that way.  Give us some leeway, please.

My comment was blocked, what’s up?

There are some folks who just don’t appreciate clean humor. They use the contact form and comments on the site to leave messages that sometimes contain language that we don’t appreciate. yes, we use a filtering service. Sometimes the filtering service is a little too sensitive. Don’t you be too sensitive. Try another way to state your thoughts. Now, we aren’t prudes and sometimes utter phrases that would make a drunken sailor blush. We just don’t like that kind of language on our site. Here, we are not censoring your right to free speech, we are simply asking that you speak with the utmost respect for others.

I am offended!

Sometimes our jokes might offend someone.  Lawyers and blondes seem to express this most often.  Blonde lawyers usually are offended most often by our jokes.  Sorry! No offense intended.  We are laughing with you not at you.

Who reads these jokes?

Lots of different people.  Usually people who prefer to avoid the raunchy humor that seems pervasive online.  Beyond that, we’ve noticed some interesting trends:

  1. People with medical conditions read our jokes because laughter is the best medicine.
  2. Those learning English as a second language, because if you can understand the humor in a language you are usually more fluent.
  3. People who like to laugh.  Enough said.
  4. Monkeys who have developed intelligence.
  5. Tell us why you read Sick Little Monkeys jokes by contacting us.  We’d like to know.
